Macaroons, grilled cheese and jeanie pants

What a Friday!  Nothing exciting just running around trying out the new camera lens with DH.  First of all I'm obviously not a professional photographer and I don't really have the patience with my DSLR camera.  I'm more of a point and shoot kind of a gal.  I wasn't happy with the lens that came with my camera so DH borrowed a lens from Borrowlenses.com.  He's ordered a couple of lenses with them before for our DSLR camera and it's a good idea considering most lenses are expensive so before shelling out $$$ why not try it out.  You can borrow their lenses for a couple of days to a month and they don't just have lenses they also have some DSLR cameras for rent.

Have you ever noticed how expensive macaroons are?  They are expensive and small but so are cupcakes.

But, I still eat them up.

Anthropologie cardigan and pants.

The pants poofs on the bottom that reminds me of Jeanie pants with drawstrings.

We had dinner/snack at The Melt.  A restaurant that specializes on grilled cheese accompanied by soup and chips.  Another overpriced place but DH wanted to try it.  We ordered The Parisian Brie/Apple Butter on White Wheat with Creamy Wild Mushroom soup.  It was pretty good and the apple butter made the sandwich a little sweet but for $9.00 plus a drink which came out close to $12. I'm better off next door at California Pizza Kitchen.

Have a great weekend.

    1. Thanks! I find that people have a love/hate with macaroons. It could be the texture. I hope you get to try it and let me know what you think.

    1. It was good but a little bit pricey for what it is.
